Please join the Galas/Isonaka families to celebrate and honor the life of Hertz Fellow and Chairman Emeritus David John Galas (1944–2023) with stories and science talks.

David John Galas was a visionary scientist, successful entrepreneur and extraordinary leader who worked tirelessly to advance science and the Hertz Foundation’s mission for more than 50 years. The Galas/Isonaka families and Pacific Northwest Research Institute (PNRI), along with honorary hosts, the Hertz Foundation and the Washington Research Foundation, invite you to a weekend of events in remembrance of David John Galas and his contributions to the scientific community.
