Russ Cox, PhD

Russell Cox is a Distinguished Engineer at Google where he leads Go programming language tech.

Prior to his role at Google, he was a contractor at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs innovations and AT&T Bell Laboratories.

He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Harvard University and his PhD in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
