From advanced and modular reactor designs, supply chain challenges and solutions, to digital tools, Harry will provide an insider’s look at how innovation can reshape the industry.

This Hertz Foundation Innovation Hour will be moderated by Hertz Fellow Sahil Pontula and takes place live on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. Eastern / 9:00–10:00 a.m. Pacific, using the Zoom video conference platform.

About the Speaker

Dr. Charalampos "Harry" Andreades is Senior Manager for Technology-to-Market and External Funding. Under his role, he leads the exploration and scouting of disruptive technologies for applications within Westinghouse's product portfolio. He has experience in the start-up, government, and corporate spheres.  He holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and PhD in Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley.

About the Moderator

Sahil Pontula is a 2023 Hertz Fellow and an applied physicist who aims to harness light-matter interactions in novel ways. He is working to enable discoveries in fundamental physics leading to next-generation technologies in energy, sensing and communication. Sahil is currently in a doctoral program in electrical engineering and computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
