Wendy Connors is the Chief Development Officer at the Fannie and John Hertz Foundation.

In this role, Wendy leads our nationwide development team and oversees all aspects of fundraising, including solicitation of principal gifts, campaign planning, program design, and volunteer and board partnerships. She also serves as a key liaison to our board of directors on development matters.

Wendy was previously Executive Director, Development, leading MIT Sloan’s School of Management’s global fundraising and development events team to support MIT Sloan students, faculty and initiatives. Wendy oversaw strategy and implementation for the school’s development efforts as part of MIT’s Better World Campaign, which raised more than $6 billion to fuel innovation to tackle global challenges.

Prior to her work at MIT, Wendy was Associate Director of Advancement and Campaign Director at the Winsor School, a premiere independent school for girls in Boston where she worked to dramatically improve the school’s facilities and to provide much needed financial support for students.

Wendy holds a master’s in education from Stanford University, specializing in policy and evaluation, and a bachelor’s from Skidmore College.
