The annual Summer Workshop is the signature event for the Hertz community and one-of-a-kind gathering of some of the top scientists, entrepreneurs and leaders in our nation’s science and technology enterprise. What better place to meet—and collaborate with—the physical scientists, biologists, engineers and mathematicians who will be creating our next breakthroughs?
At the 2025 Hertz Summer Workshop, you’ll join a vibrant interdisciplinary and multigenerational group for a challenging and enlightening three-day workshop—including an engineering challenge, engaging speakers and abundant networking opportunities.

The Cheyenne Mountain Resort is located close to the Colorado Springs Airport and just over an hour from Denver offering ample flight options for all attendees. The 200 scenic acres will give us plenty of space to explore. The conference spaces will be co-localized with great lodge rooms to stay. The resort offers 16 indoor/outdoor tennis courts, 5 pools, a private 35-acre lake, and an onsite 18-hole golf course plus childcare options onsite.
