Joseph Rule is a Research Chemist at 3M Corporation, where he applies expertise in organic and materials chemistry to the development of new specialty materials and chemical products. Rule earned his undergraduate degree from Albertson College of Idaho (now College of Idaho) before completing his Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where his fellowship began in 2001. His doctoral research contributed to polymer chemistry and materials synthesis, skills applied in 3M’s research and development of specialty chemical products.
