Ping Lee has over 30 years of experience at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). He served as Senior Director of NNSA Programs focusing on Defense and Nuclear Nonproliferation Programs.
As such, he utilized his background as an experimental physicist in areas ranging from stockpile stewardship subcritical experiments to nuclear nonproliferation experimentation and testbed and infrastructure investments. In particular, he has functioned as an advisor to the NA-22 leadership, to create long-term joint experimental programs between the National Laboratories to be conducted at NNSS. This has resulted in long-term funding lines; and more importantly, working in concert with the expertise of multiple National Laboratories to address future requirements in the weapons/nonproliferation arena.
