Colleen Wright is the Vice President of New Generation Development for Constellation, the nation’s largest producer of clean, reliable energy and the leading competitive supplier of energy products and services to over 2.5 million homes and businesses across the United States. In this role, Wright is responsible for translating Constellation’s generation development strategy into executable project pipelines across multiple technologies including new nuclear, storage, renewables and natural gas.
Prior to this role, Wright was the Vice President of Strategy and Growth for Constellation, shaping the long-term business and technology strategy and enabling new growth through early-stage technology deployments, grants and partnerships. She previously held roles at Exelon as Director of Corporate Strategy; Chief of Staff to Exelon’s Chief Strategy Officer; and shaping policy in the government affairs team. Wright joined Exelon from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission where she worked as an economist and policy advisor to Commissioner Cheryl LaFleur.
Wright has an MBA from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Richmond.
Wright serves on the Board for the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition and lives outside Chicago with her two sons and husband.
