The Hertz Foundation is partnering with The Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA), a UK R&D funding agency that empowers scientists and engineers to pursue breakthroughs at the edge of the possible, on a series of salons and dinners connecting Hertz Fellows with ARIA’s community of researchers, builders, and Programme Directors.
These intimate gatherings will bring together fellows, researchers, and partners for substantive conversation exploring the frontiers of science and what it takes to build and lead ambitious research programs.
Upcoming co-hosted salons include:
- New York, August 15, 2026 – Neurotech and Trust Infrastructure, co-hosted by Hertz and ARIA. A conversation on the privacy, governance, and trust questions raised as neurotechnology moves from the lab into everyday life.
- Washington, DC, August 18, 2026 – Frontiers of Space and Science, co-hosted by Hertz, ARIA, and the Astera Institute. A dinner exploring how advances in space exploration and astronomy infrastructure can inform new frontiers across scientific fields.
Hertz Fellows have also been invited to join related ARIA gatherings in Boston and San Francisco.
- Boston, MA, August 13, 2026 – Ambitious Science: Fireside Chat & Dinner by Pillar VC, Convergent Research, Hertz Fellow Adam Marblestone and ARIA.
- San Francisco, CA, July 30, 2026 – Engineering Living Intelligence: Biology, Computation, and Interfaces for Human Flourishing, hosted by ARIA.
