Emily Davis is an Assistant Professor in the Center for Quantum Phenomena within the Physics Department at New York University.
Emily was previously a Miller Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley, where she collaborated with Norman Yao to study many-body physics and magnetometry with nitrogen vacancy centers in diamond. Prior to that, she completed her PhD at Stanford with Monika Schleier-Smith. She built a cavity QED experiment with ultracold rubidium atoms to study and image nonlocal spin dynamics.
Emily completed her undergraduate studies at MIT, with degrees in physics, electrical engineering, and computer science.
