Hertz Fellowship Selection Volunteer
The National Society for Black Physicists (NSBP) will identify one board member to serve as a volunteer in the Hertz Fellowship selection process, starting with a two-year pilot in 2025.

This partnership builds on a previously established application referral process in which NSBP identified outstanding candidates for the Hertz Fellowship who otherwise might not have applied. Through this process, the recommended students were offered mentoring by Hertz Fellows in university faculty positions.
