Joel Silberman, PhD

Joel Silberman is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research.

Joel received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1986 and joined the IBM Research Division that same year. He has worked on numerous research and product-oriented microprocessor design projects focusing on high-speed and low-power designs. Joel’s current work is concerned with tradeoffs in microarchitecture and circuit performance of advanced cache memory and instruction issue logic.
